          Personally...

I have long touted that Plat, Gold, Silver & Copper should go in the same spot as the other currency.

Not many people realize this, but Plat/Gold/Silver/Copper was made No Trade (originally called "No Drop") several years ago so you couldn't drop it... making it the only No Trade Item in the game, that you can, in fact, trade.

These days, you can't even right click to see the item link on coins.

Any way, I think it is time to remove the "No Trade' status of Plat/Gold/Silver/Copper so that we can put them in the guild bank like any other item and like any of the other alternative currency items.

That, or they need to add Plat/Gold/Silver/Copper slots to the Guild bank.

          Here is why...

Most guild do have "guild funds." These funds are normally handled (stored) by a one or two key people. In order to do this, such fund have to mingle with their own funds and it requires a lot of tracking (how much is mine, how much is guilds, etc.).

So, to remove any question of the "guild fund" balance, remove the headache of tracking balances. etc. -- the funds can simply be placed into the Guild bank.

Also, and this has happened, it removes the chance that the guild funds will dissappear with the player should they quit playing EQ for any reason whatsoever, the account gets banned or they just flat leave the guild and take the money with them.

Not necessarily remember the Faycitum were introduced last year a few months before the current expansion. They were the reward for the faction quests.
