  • What are the actual Tradeskill AAs please

I know that there is salvage and the Taannan craft one that makes it so you can do other TS over 200 but what are the other ones. Have been trying to find a good list. The advanced calculaor on this site asks if I have TS AA 1-2-3, what are those. Also how do I find out the difficulty of the combine, the same calculator asks for a value from 1-100? Anyone know?

Are there specific AAs that will help with each TS or an overall one that helps for all TS?

TS AA 1-2-3 refers to the appropriate "Mastery" AAs for the particular tradeskill.
Salvage is the only AA line that can be considered to be of "overall" benefit.

    Tradeskill related AAs:

New Taanan Crafting -- up to 6 levels -- applicable to the 7 unrestricted trades (baking, brewing, fletching, pottery, jewelcraft, smithing, tailoring).

Mastery AAs -- up to 3 levels -- one for each of the above 7 trades, plus also for alchemy, poison, tinkering. These AAs are named "xxx Mastery" for these ten trades.

Mastery AAs (for Reseach only) -- up to 3 levels for intelligence casters only -- this AA line is named Arcane Tongues.

There are also newly added AAs which extend the research cap for non-caster classes. Written Prayer is the name of the priest class AA, Hybrid Research is the name for hybrids. I believe there may also be one for pure-melee classes, but I'm not certain.

Salvage AAs -- up to 3 levels -- applicable to all the trades.

Pure melee get 300 by default. They do not get access to Arcane tongues though. Ngreth has stated that the trivials on tomes are lower to compensate.

Ok, so Salvage is good if it saves your porus loam instead of your flask of water.

Do the Master AAs give a boost to your success chance per combine? If I want to make orbs with pottery would I be better off getting the potery mastery AA to get more successes?

Do the different lvls of these AAs scale up in the same % increments like 10%, 20%, 30% increase in either save item with salvage or successfull combine with Mastery AA?

            Mastery AAs are 10, 25, 50%.

If you are going to try transluscent or pure orbs, mastery 3 is a must. Same goes for elegant weapons and armor.

These Mastery AA's reduce your chance of failure on any single combine by 10%, 25% and 50%. This will effectively, increase your chance of success but the increased chance of success will not necessarily be 10/25/50.

Additionally, these AA's will never allow you to defeat the caps. As a rough example: If you are doing a combine where you have a 20% chance of failure without the mastery AA's, Master 3 will reduce your chance to fail to 10%. BUT If you are doing a combine where you have a 6% chance of failure without the mastery AA's, Master 3 will reduce your chance to fail to 5% (the cap for normal combines).

It should also be noted that many of the Cultural Armor recipes have an increased chance of failure hard-coded into the recipe for the armor itself (not the templates). Mastery 3 will reduce your chance of failure down to that point but no further (unless Ngreth removed these higher caps with the revamp). I don't believe the Cultural Weapons have this boosted chance of failure. Boosted chances of failure are not limited to Cultural Armor, they can be found in rare cases outside of that. One thing of interest pertaining to the recipes with a boosted chance of failure, they also contain a boosted chance to gain a skill-up.

This is only true for OLD combines. the newer combines for cultural I made a few years ago, I removed the enhanced fail change (just made the trivials higher)
