LOL - it's barely 10am left coast time - it took them till 4pm thier time to get the bank info up - how bad were they on the LFG feature? I'm enjoying my day and checking back late east coast time.

Chances are nothing will be posted til close to the end of the day 4 or 5pm PST (7 or 8pm EST), thats about the time all the other stuff has gone up on the site

and it seems clear that this will be true in any bank you visit.

the information is up. it's as we expected from the xml window, tradeskills seem to have nothing to do with it.

there's no indication of how expensive it will be.

you'll use a reagent every time you make a change, but there seems to be only one type of reagent not a different one for each color.

Maybe it'll be a compoent that is either bought from vendors for a large chunk of pp or crafted by players at a considerably lower price.
We'll find out soon enough.

Each change will require the use of a magical component that is expended when the tint is saved.

Granted, the wording is not promising but that does not rule out tradeskill involvement...

I have stocks of color dyes in the bank now...hopefully the dyes will be same dyes that were used for FS tinting...cant imagine they would have one set of dyes for FS and another for the new tinting. This would seem to:
A) eliminate combining in a forge -which was no fail anyway I believe
B) expand this to all types of armor.

Meaning that if youre a shaman who has good success at making dyes, then this might be your lucky day. As for the rest of you, I would suggest holding any dyes that you have and start camping DL for cockatrice feathers (easiset dye component ive found).

look for big camp zones in dye locations...Ill bet permafrost will become permacamped soon....

I don't think any of your dies will work...

Based on what it says you use a reagent... this reagent is either mob drop/vendor sold... or maybe, just maybe tradeskilled.

Unfortunately it looks like just 1 reagent, and you can mix colors, doesn't appear to require different reagents for different colors.

Once saved, any armor you wear on that slot will be tinted the chosen color.
