Making the new weapon augs

So to make the new weapon augs, do I have to do quests again? I've bought the books and scribed them, but I don't see the recipes in my forge or cultural sewing kit...

Thanks very much! Now that you helped me with that, can you tell me where I can buy/make the Elegant Hilt Casing Mold and Elegant Blade Shaped Mold and the Block of Ossified Weapon Grade Ore?

Ore is at the smithing suppliers right near the pottery merchants.
Molds are found on the pottery merchants near Mercia and the Ironstoves.

Thanks. But are you sure? I'm standing at those merchants right now (east of MB), and they don't have any Elegant-anythings. I thought I had to make the molds with pottery? I just don't know how to make those molds, if that's the case. Is there a book I need to scribe to find out?

You do have to make the molds. The sketches should be on one of the pottery vendors (and I don't OFFHAND remember the recipes...I'm not at home.)

I must be missing something here. I see the Stalward and Elegant weapon scrolls on smithing vendor, scribed them, and can see the new weapon recipies.

But I cannot find the weapon symbol/aug recipies on either in forge or in JC kit (and I tried collapsible, reinforced, and planar jc kits), nor did I see any new recipe scrolls on the PoK JC vendor.

Can someone confirm which scribed books add the new weapon augs to forge or JC kits? It seems it must be different from the recipe book for weapons. Or are they automatically added as result of combining in book binding a new set of sublime patterns?

Looking at the PoK cultural discoveries vendor by pok library, they have books for smithing and tailoring symbols, but no other types..and re-scribing those scrolls also did not give me access to weapon symbols.

Whereever the new symbol recipies are seems far less obvious than the recipies for new weapons.

NVM, I found them. They were not on the normal JC shop vendor but rather the jc vendor in row of vendors in pok on back of building with brew barrels.

Yep, I've made a couple, now. And to clarify, you can put ANY charm, regardless of deity, in a weapon. Each deity has a different effect, so choose the one you want. Too late for me, though, I didn't know that when I made mine, so mine proc heals.

The recipe scrolls for the JC crafted augments for weapons are on the JC merchant near the brew barrels.

The weapon scrolls are sold by one of the dwarves in the Southeast smithy building. Just north of that building, on the west side of the Eastern Trader building, are two JC vendors (among other vendors). One of these JC venders sells the scrolls for the weapon augment recipes.

Bear in mind though - these vendors follow the same pattern that the cultural vendors up near the library entrance do - if your skill is not high enough, you won't see the scroll for sale. The highest three scrolls cannot be seen without a base 300 skill (smithing for the weapons, JC for the augs).

Borik Darkanvil in PoK has the smithing scribable scrolls for the weps, and has the books you will need to see how to make the molds and the handles. You will need books 1, 2 and 3 to understand how the molds and handles are made.

Mercia in PoK has the scribable scrolls for the slot 11 Augs. Dalin Greskar near her has the mold patterns you will need.

Tratlan Matrick in PoK has the scribable scrolls and the patterns you will need for the tailoring.

The weapon and augment recipes will show up in the appropriate TS container (smith, tailor or JC) once you have scribed the scrolls. The mold and handle recipes have to be learned first by making one. You do this by following the instructions in those 3 books I mentioned, Fine Weapon Making Volumes 1-3.

The weapon grade ore is sold by the smith vendor in pok near the pottery area (N trade bldg), and by the gnome in the TS area in bazaar.
