Mount rations/drinks

I hate it when my horse drinks all my KCs.

How about a tradeskilled ration/drink for mounts that make them faster, help you regen faster, med faster etc?

Just keep a stack of iron rations and a stack of water flasks in your inventory at all times, force-feed them every 15 minute or so. Your stat food and drink will last forever that way.

If it involves the ever evil code change, why not plan it for an expansion?

After all, to be more realistic, horses dont eat people food, per se.

It used to be rumoured that the ground spawned Hay in WK would keep your horse from eating your food, but it isn't true.

Making mounts eat a food "tagged"for mounts only would involve us carryign around two more slots of items (one food, one water), but I would be willing to make that sacrifice.

Or... perhaps we can add an AA that prevents a mount from eating food at all?

Or maybe mounts simply wont eat your food? After all, most mounts are summoned on a temporary basis and then "banished" back to whatever realm they "live" at.. where I am sure they can eat and drink all they want.
