trophy progression....

I have a fetching trophy at 6 of 7 levels, do I have to do anything to get it to go past level 6?? I thought I remembered at one time you had to but I don't remember for sure, much less what it is that I'm suppose to do, if anything.
Skill level is currently at 290....

Once you reach 300, you can then work on getting it up to level 7. Congratulations on it dinging ahead of you after you reach 300, only recipes that trivial above 300 will work for leveling up a trophy from 6 to 7.

Well I'm still at a skill of 290 in fetching. I was going to try to get to 300, but I was waiting on a reply to this, and the fact that the skill-ups were becoming stingy, (3 skill ups in 80 combines going fro 287 to 290, next 80 0 skillups)....so I backed off.
As a side note, I'm making mithral champion arrows, the ones that triv out at 335.

You can continue to use the item to improve your chances of succeeding on those arrows, but you will not see the trophy move.

It sounds like a small run of bad luck with the RNG but 3 through 80 is normal for that range.

3 in 80 is slightly BETTER than the curve... it takes on AVERAGE 88 combines to got those 3 skillups.
