    Pout

I wish you uber hunters would keep your huge revenues to yourselves.

To make my money, I keep my server supplied with:
    Kaladim Constitutional
    Hand Made Backpacks
    Colored Hand Made Backpacks
    Shrew and Remove Curse spells
    28 Kunark-era quested spells
An assortment of level 61-65 spells
    Legacy of Ykesha Robes
Round cut opals, peridots, and emeralds

Do you know how many hours (months) I spend to make 1 million platinum?

    <sigh>

I been playing EQ since beta and I know it is old fashioned but I do have time to kill and so on... so I tend to do a few rounds of killing and then selling FS weapons... I know these do not sell for tons of cash.. but... after 20 minutes .. in the right place and with a generous drops rate i can get 250 to 300 plat... so while I am waiting for groups.. or raids.. or friends to come on i go on killing sprees and grind up some plat... yes it still takes a long time to get o 1 million plat.. but ...the only other thing I would be doing with that time is Sitting or Tradeskilling
      Pain Lord Drigg Strongarm
Ogre Scourge Knight in the 75th Rank of Power
      Officer in The Divine Light
      Tunare Server

        Plat farming

Lower Guk has been awesome for stuff to sell to other players. Selling tradeskill stuff to barter folks is a good method as well. But, if you're looking for a place to fill up 8 ten slot bags, Dulaks has always been nice for PBAOE casters. Gather up as big of a train as you can handle and run into a corner. Unload a big nuke or 2 and wipe out the whole train. It actually takes longer to loot the mobs than it does to kill em. Before the global tailoring drops were introduced, Othmir Genocide was a great way to make cash when you could sell their fur for like 250pp ea, plus all their gems and armor sold well to the NPCs.

          Earning Plat

I was so frustrated a few days ago because earning plat was so hard. I am on dial up and can be frequently disconnected, there are no plans to get dsl in this area soooo.... I had spent days in Dulak grinding lvls and earning a few gems but I found that the gems is down to zero on Druilia and not sure of the other ships. I had decided there had to be a better place, I couldn't even tradeskill I earned enough to keep buying only potions I needed to keep on grinding... It was a vicious cycle. Till someone told me ONE of the locations they use to farm platt in Gukta.

I am happy to say I can keep working on my trade skills but I know eventually I will have to turn to Dains or other things so I can level up my AA's.

I actually enjoy tradeskilling specially Baking and Jewel Craft. I guess it helps to be an artist in real life lol. I do a lot of drawing and hope to sell pieces in the future.

Having just joined the forum I am still working on my profile so others can see what I do. But I plan on entering the proper signature for that soon. You can email me if your curious.

In the mean time I am a happier Paladin than I was!

If you farm in Dulak Harbor you might try Windscorn.Iksar bloods are kinda rare but should sell well in the bazaar:-)

I would sell in the Bazaar but unfortunately I am on dial up and cannot stay connected and frequently find myself disconnected sometime during the night. Thus selling in Bazaar is too much of a challenge. At this point in time if I don't get a buyer for some of the things I have to offer I destroy them to keep my slots open. I don't see the point of letting others profit where I cannot. I have currently two cards of the Legend of Norath, Hollow Passageway, and some Guardian card. Both currently going from anywhere from 4000 to 200pp in Bazaar I have been trying to sell them for a couple of weeks and I am ready to destroy them to make room in my bank for other things I am doing.

If you know anyone interested, I am reasonable. Sold a guy a Jolt card and one other for 2000pp and they were selling combined for 5000pp in Bazaar.

Ok well I farmed Dulak yesterday got 3 peridots, 2 diamonds, 1 blue diamond, 1 star ruby and an AA point. Not bad. earned about 600 pp

Market is getting a little flooded again for my tastes. If you have dial up you can do what I see a lot of folks do; find a popular time to be in the bazaar, and shout to sell your wares. I am still surprised by the number of tells I get that assume I am not in trader or ask where I am.

I would also check out the buyers and see if there is something you feel like getting a lot of. Sometimes buyers offer enough plat to make it worth your time, and its a quick run in and sell in two seconds kind of deal to them. I see a lot of buyers for pelts on Bertoxx recently. Iksar meat is even better than bloods on my server, for the illusion potions.

I still do combines, but it's been for my guild and not for plat. Plat combines are far and few between, and anytime I decide to stock anything, it NEVER sells. I hate to admit, but the most success I had on stocking tradeskilled items was during ldon with the plate armor with different stats. People will still buy that too, cause it looks pretty nifty on, and it has more than one aug slot. There isn't much money in it though.
