Strange that nothing can be found about the miraculous appearence of req lvl 80 rec lvl 84 on porous loam, exquisite marrow and exquisite spinneret fluid
( there are others too but i took the 3 expensive ones). That means that your lvl 76 won t be able to make the gear he can wear at lvl 75... does that strike anyone as bizar?...The attempts to nerf the tradeskills is still going on though in a more sneaky way. Add this with the declaration of Ngreth that he wants to retune the augment stats ( read : nerf into Oblivion ) and i m sure that tradeskillers should stay very much awake. I thought that the removal of rashere and the 1000 pages of comments on the last try should have made things clear to even the most empty skulls working at Sony but maybe i was to optimistic.

#1 those fields on COMPONENTS means nothing. it is just there for informational purposes, at the request of the community. Those fields are totally ignored by tradeskill containers, and you could make a combine with required level 999 items at level 1. The system itself just does not care and pays absolutely no attention.

#2 It looks like I have a bug and I somewhere along the way shifted the levels on the INFORMATION by 5 levels.

Its a great idea and saves me answering a dozen tells from people every day - "what lvl armor does this ore make?"

To be honest... no i didn t know that .... not that i need to have someone hold my hand on tradesjkill drops... if i don t know i look it up.... after a couple of times i know. On the other hand my trust in dev's isn t really great and this sort of things invites to effectively lock levels out.

And posts like your original one, and even this one, do nothing to inspire any of the devs, especially the ones doing good things. Thankfully, dev's don't have short fuses on belittling comments from a few players feeling they've been so terribly wronged all these years (I'll assume you've been playing for years, but then again, not sure how people with bad attitudes stick with something they despise so much).

The point is, if you have a problem with devs, take it to the Sony boards (which, BTW is exactly what the FAQ and posting guides say). There is no need to bring that kind of hate and discontent to one of the places where the devs and players have a good working relationship. If you want to be treated nice (by devs or the community) then treat them nice, no matter how little trust you can bring yourself to muster.
