Cultural vendor question

Can anyone tell me what my Tailoring skill has to be before the TS vendor will sell me the level XI (Superb Silks and Pelts) recipe book? My current skill is 272 ( without the trophy ). One of the Fine Silk recipes is already "trivial" to me. But the vendor still offers me only the recipe books up to level X. And while on the subject, what skill do I have to have for the level XII and XIII books?

And on a related, but different, subject --- did anyone else have one or more of their trophies de-volve during the patch that introduced the "Defiant" armor? My Tailoring trophy had been evolved into the low 40s prior to the patch. After, it was at 18%. All the other trophies were still at their correct levels. Just wondering.

This would be raw skill. Any chance you have another modifier, like a geerlok? Otherwise they should be visible to you.


There have been a few instances where evolving items have lost %, but that is typically during some sort of change. Also, some activities before a server shut down my not be recorded and it will revert back to the last "saved" point (so if you were doing a lot of combines right up until the server went down, some of that might not be saved, or at least so it has been reported, I've never had a problem that way). Also, any chance you were thinking of another trophy instead? To answer your question, no, the trophy should not have de-evolved, but even if it did, there is little chance that anything can be done about it.

No, 272 is my raw skill. And although I do have a geerlok, it's in the bank. So that's not it. But thanks for the reply.

P.S. Although my 'Smithing skill is 252 (raw) I can't buy the level XI Smithing book either.

I was able to buy to the Cobalt Ore book at 275 and then the Titanium and Tantalum Ore books both at 300 skill.

I believe the progression goes like this:
