  • Foraging Machette forages?

So I been in Mons Letalis tryin to forage this blasted Letalis Zenith Vine today (1/28/03 -- patch day) fer *HOURS* and have had no luck. I've gotten stacks of roots, grubs, rockweed bulbs, packs and packs of feathers, and even a good number of spices, but no vine.

My forage skill is 200, so I don't see any reason why I can't get the vine; it's to the point where I don't beleive it's simply bad luck.

So I was wondering if any have tried/gotten the vine recently (post patch). Any info would be much appricated.

    Thanks!

It took me over 2 hours to get mine. Kill rockhoppers while there time will fly by. Good luck. This was my hardest piece to forage.

I was there foraging for like 2 hours one day on my monk, along with my druid sis helping while we killed hoppers for hides. No luck at all. I had parked my monk there to continue the next day, but when I logged her on, I had to go elsewhere. So I hit forage as I was stading there waiting for sis to show up and pick me up and got the vine. Was very surprised as I have heard this is quite the pain to forage for most people.

        Most un-encouraging.

        I have:
        Dawn Flower Seeds
        Twillight Orchid
        Red Sands Cactus

And hearing that this vine is a pain is not a happy thought.

Yes, same here. My druid's foraging was around 160 when she tried to forage the vine. She just brought a bunch of celestial essence ingredients and hid on a rock next to the tunnel entrance to Marus Seru for a couple of hours.

I read a book and took notes on the stuff she foraged to confirm the information on Mons Letalis foraged items listed on EQ Traders when she finished making CE. ZZZzzzzzzz.....

When foraging for stuff I really want (dragon eggs in WW, planar oak in PoG) I generally take a good amount of stuff to combine with me, such as celestial essence material. Kill two birds with one stone.
