    any 70-74 armor still in the works?

    Back when there were plans to change the stats on the cultural armors and have the seals, symbols, and armors be considered a set, SOE was talking about creating a set of armors to match the exalted symbols.

    Since the idea of shifting the stats around has been squashed, has the plans for making level 70-74 armors (in line with the exalted symbols) been squashed as well?

    Yes.

      Note also that the 70-74 armor proposed in January - when it was still being considered - was only +3 AC and about +20 HP over the elaborate. While 24 raw AC is 24 raw AC, it wasn't too significant an upgrade considering it was spread all over the set. So even though it was cancelled, players didn't lose out on too much. In my opinion.
