DSH Brownies

Im sure I posted this on the weekend, but cant seem to find the thread.

Was just asking for the drop rate on loams/fluids/marrows to be checked on the brownies in DSH. Hunted them off an on over the past few weeks, sometimes upto 5 hours a go, for xp and faction(Ladies of Light).

We have seen plenty of ore, hides and silks drop(indicating they are tagged humanoid - I think) but have not seen any loam/fluid/marrow drop from them. Given the level of the mobs I would expect to see alkalai/soluble loam on a fairly regular basis, have had alkalai drop in DSK where none of the mobs should be of a level to have it as their standard drop.

Kind of odd, I've farmed the wind nymphs extensively and got a decent supply of porous loam and an occasional alkalai loam off them. They're light blue at 80, most of the brownies are dark blue I think.

Maybe there's a glitch in the loot tables, so when mobs are supposed to drop alkalai loam common and porous loam ultra-rare, they're not dropping any loam at all?

DSH is not tier 3/4, so the drop rate on these brownies will be extremely low, as teh rare components (porous loam, exquisite spinnerettes & marrrow) are meant to drop primarily in tier 3/4 zones (SHIP, Crystallos, etc)

They were asking about lower level loams/fluids/marrows, though. The 68-72 and 73-77 versions.

Yes, I was meaning the soluble and alkalai level loams/fluids etc, I realise there is only a very small chance of getting porous drop outside tier 3/4 in SOF no matter what level mobs you are fighting.

We not there after the loams, but they would be a nice bonus to get 1 or 2 while working the dratted spell factions.

Another 3 hours+ today and no loam/marrow/fluid. Could be the RNG but suspect differently.

Any news on the Brownie drop table at all? Anyone else with experience hunting them and getting/not getting the trade skills bits?

Bonked a few on the head last week an' got an Alkalai Loam an' some silk. Dunno if I ever saw fluid or marrow there. Definitely not the first loam.

The brownies are where I burn my Lesson every day. For the past month (killing around 20 mobs each day, except Sundays) I've seen two alkalai loams, one excellent marrow, one flawless spinnaret fluid, a soluble loam and - yes - one exquisite marrow.

That said, I had absolutely none of the rare bits drop in the first two weeks of the last month's hunting - typical RNG really!

Thanks for the responses, must be just very bad RNG when weve been to the brownies. Not surprising given how bad my in game dice are.
