Filing Cabinet

I would love a quested or such item like a File Cabinet.

This would be 8 slots wide and 8 slots deep. Across the top the slots are labeled: Head, Gloves, Arms, Legs, Chest, Wrist, Wrist, Boots.

The slots down would be labeled: Blessed, Revered, Sacred, Eminent, Exalted, Sublime, Armor Molds, Armor Patterns.

These slots are coded to ONLY take the cultural armor / symbol pattern in the listed slot, right now I have 5 10 slot bags full of paper and armor molds. This would be one container that holds our blueprints for making stuff. Considering all this is no-drop, we are left with this consuming tons of bank space.

Please can us tradeskillers have a filing cabinet for all of our plans to make cultural symbols and armor?

Ngreth said earlier he will probably reduce the cultural mold/patterns to one, since we now have templates to distinguish the armor slot. It's just on that big list of things to do . That doesn't help with the symbols of course, but it's a start.

I very much support a proposal like this. It actually takes up LESS space to store on the server than you currently use with a 10-slot bag. Each slot in a 10-slot bag has to record which of the million items it contains, plus the quantity, plus the augs, plus the charge count, plus the attuned flag. Each slot in this "portfolio" would only need to record how many of the item it contained, since the portfolio description would specify which item id could be stored in each slot, none of the patterns is augable, none has charges and none are attunable.

I would also extend this notion to "gem bags" with a slot for each of the vendor-bought gems, plus the most common dropped gems.

Unfortunately, it would corrupt the entire internet and require every electronic device more sophisticated than a blender to be reformatted and reprogrammed from scratch. The 10-slot limitation is hard-coded deep in the heart of EQ and can't be changed safely. Changing it would destroy civilization as we know it and then we wouldn't have hot showers.

I whole heartedly support this idea. Heck, I support any idea where I can get more bank and/or bag space. I am just flowing over with stuff.

Prophecy of Ro was the last expansion that added bank space, which was early 2006 if I recall correctly.
