  • CHA Question

Being the super sexy ogre that I am, no vendors like me. With a whopping CHA of 47 at level 59 I don't get very good prices for the things I sell.

What is the breakdown on how high you need your CHA in order to get the max value out of your items?

  • #2
I believe the max-price level kicks in at 110, but it might be 130.

Make yourself or buy a pair of Opal Encrusted Steins, and that'll get you most of the way --- they're 25 CHA each --- and a pair of platinum demantoid rings will get you the rest of the way, at 8 CHA each.

At level 59, you don't have any gear with CHA ups on it? I though the lowest base CHA was 50, for da short folks (halflings, dorfs, froggies, etc), but could be wrong.

With Faction at indifferent 104 CHA gets you the merchant's best price. More CHA is needed if faction is apprehensive, about 130 in that case.

As mentioned a couple Opal Encrusted Stiens will help (PRI and SEC, 25 each or 50 CHA) which should put you at your cap.

If they cost a little much take the advice on the new jewelry. buy the parts and get help/hire a jeweler to make the following items:

          Oval cut Demantoid (x2)
Round cut Star Tose Quartz (x2)
(insert metal name here)* Duo Ring**

          * Choose the best metal you can reasonably afford. It will pay for itself fast. (Maybe check with the chanter to see if they will cut a deal, personally I have a lot of Palladium so I make CHA jewelry really cheap).

** These could also bee Earring, Bracelet, Necklace or Viel. As you choose.

*** REMINDER: Insert the type 11 aug first (the Oval Cut Demantoid)/

The tradeskill trophies have charisma on them, think its about 60 when fully maxed but not sure what at lower levels. They are handy to have anyway and for some tradeskills, the only means of getting a 15% mod.
You could also ask a kind shaman or enchanter to give you a charisma buff if you dont make 110 (i thought it was 120, but i am often wrong) with gear.
