I am just curious if I am missing it somewhere, but is Master Smith the highest you can go? Im at 300 smithing and =12% on my trophy with a 336 total, but it only seems to move 1% every 15 worthless combines. I there not grandmaster anymore?

300 is the highest raw skill you can reach, but the trophy mod can go to 15% (level 7) and will continue evolving as long as you are doing successful combines with trivials higher than your raw skill.

Yes. It has been stated that the trophy only evolves on successful, non trivial combines within 100 points of your current raw skill.

But at 300, the "within 100" doesn't matter anymore. Anything over 350 is considered to be 350 for that restriction. So, you could raise the trophy on items trivial 400+.

Correct. Actually it is not just at 300. Anything over 350 trivial is considered 350 for the sake of the trophy. That means from 250 skill and up you are able to make any non-trivial recipe. But I did not feel that nuiance was necessary to restate.
