new drop rates

Finally the level 75 cultural drops (not template drops) have had their drop rate reduced as they were coming into the world too quickly.

this is kind of confusing.... 75 cultural is symbols and 80 is armor correct? so why would they mention (not template drops) for 75 cultural? does this mean porous/exquisite, or are they talking about the symbols and alkalai/flawless then?

porous and exquisite are VERY hard to find, why would they reduce the rate? that doesnt make sense, but according to the msg, it seems thats what has happened. the prices are already 500k in the bazaar, i can only imagine what will happen if it gets worse. on the other hand, i agree alkalai and flawless are very abundant and could use a reducing.

lev 75 cultural = flawless spinneret fluid, superb marrow, alkalai loam

lev 75 templates (skillup only) - flawless silk & pelts, titanium

So - flawless spinneret fluid, superb marrow, alkalai loam will be reduced rates?

Templates for the level 75 would be Flawless Silk/Animal Pelts and Titanium Ore. These items are not having their drop rates adjusted. The rare drops, Alkalai Loam, Flawless Spinneret Fluid, Superb Marrow are being reduced.

This comment does not affect Porous/Exquisite drops.

There are templates that can be made from the 12th tier of the drops. These are another level of "just for smooth skillups" for when the tradeskill caps are eventually raised and to be consistant.

ok i see now, i forgot you can still make templates even though thre is no armor that can be made from it. thank you, that answers my question.
