what is needed to make Elegant Moonglade

I tried today to make an elegant cuirass, made the template and when I arrived in felwithe. I tried making the final combine

only to have a blue message telling me the recipe was right but i needed more to be able to craft it

what did i miss

Before I could do the combine for the Elegant armor, I had to purchase a book from "a cultural discoveries historian", to the left of the door to the library in Plane of Knowledge (loc: -138.01, 717.62, 4.38). Purchase the book called "Elegant High Elf Cultural Smithing" (or something like that, not sure the exact name) and scribe it. All of the recipes will appear in your container after that as well.

Not level 80, only need base skill of 300 and have SoF to buy & scribe the recipe book for making any elegant armor.

Theorically you could have a level 1 toon making elegant gear but skilling up to 300 would be a pain in the butt plus no mastery AA or salvage AA means failing a lot of combines at 300k a pop.

It only checks the base skill. You do not need SoF to purchase or scribe the book.

You are just going to need SoF to make the Symbols, since the hunting zones for that are in SoF.
