New Demand for the Elaborate stuff

I am keeping a mix of duskwoven, dreadguard and nightfall in stock usually one of most pieces. I find the dreadguard and duskwoven sells well but the nightfall as always sells slow. On average i am selling about 2.5 pieces combine of the three. The sales seem to double on the weekend. I am able to sell the dreadguard pieces at over 35k and the duskwovens at 10kish.

The price of loam is much more expensive then the spinners.
The price of alkalai loam is basically on par with soluble loam on emarr. At times it is even more expensive. Right now soluble the cheapest soluble loam is 30k well i can get alkalai loam for half that. Cobalt ore is going up in price. I am lucky to find any below 1k. Right now none below 2500k.

Some elaborate...

First off I am on the Quellious server. Stuff for Elegant is quite pricey still with porous loam going for 250k or so and the Exquisite spinnerettes and marrow being right in step with that. Because if that I currently have 1 piece of Elegant with aug on my main.

I finished the sublime quest thanks to my guild. still need to finish the Exalted quest. hope to do that in the next day or 2.

I am able to make all types of Elaborate for Vah Shir and for gnomes. Typically the silk versions of the gnomish sell the best. Vah Shir I sell a lot of chain. All of the Vah Shir has been relegated to custom orders only although that does not mean that I don't make much. I am one of the few Vah Shir that can do it or so it seems. I get referrals from all over the server for gear.

Right now I can only make the Vah Shir leather Elegant but the parts are so rare and pricey that I have not made much. Only ones I have made were for myself off drops I found or got from guildies.

Exalted augs are selling for 45k each right now. Elegant armor no less than 400k per piece regardless of class. Sublime augs 400k per or 150k if you supply the parts.

Last note here... Mulleteer I am assuming you made a typo at the end there. You stated "Right now none below 2500k." Assuming that was supposed to be 2500 since 2.5 million is a bit much for cobalt

Someone on AB bazaar was yelling how this stuffs about to be nerfed. 2 people who had orders for gear cancelled and said they'd look into it later, or get SoF drops.

Guess I'll wait and see how long it takes for market to bounce back.

Elaborate armor and Eminent symbols are not going to get nerfed, they're actually going to get better when they absorb some of the stats from Last Blood augs.

Elegant armor and Sublime symbols are not going to change (well, when paired together, some of the stats on the symbol may get shifted to the armor).

People don't know for sure what they'll end up as, can't blame them for holding back.
Wish I'd not spent as much time/pp myself if they're nerfed too badly.

Elaborate + Sublime, Elaborate + Exalted, even INTRICATE + big symbols is very nice stuff for non-tanks. You lose VERY LITTLE on stats other than AC by going with the lower-level armor, and you SAVE a ton of plat by doing so.


This is no more than a continuation or "revamp" of the old Master Armor + GM Symbol that a lot of casters used on the original DoN cultural.



It HAS put a lot of pressure on the Cobalt Ore market on Povar for a while, between folks trying to keep up with the armor demand and folks trying to skillup to 300, to the point that the ORE was less common in the Bazaar and sold for half as much as the LOAM for a solid week straight....

My market for Elaborate Waygard and Stalwart hasn't budged very much at all on Xegony.

And I haven't bothered to even try making more Elaborate Moonglade because there are too many others who make and sell it.

Of course, if this "reverse nerf" happens and Elegant armour increases in stats... things might change. (I know my exisiting characters will get more powerful, oddly enough.)
