Non-visible Cultural?

I was curious as to why the new template pattern vendors sell patterns for slots for which there is no corresponding pattern in the ancestral books.

Maybe the quests now produce books with a wider variety of patterns than they once did?

Such as belts, shoulderpads, cloaks etc.........

I tried a combine just for kicks with a regular, old school cloak pattern, but no luck....

Is there a way to make cultural armors for these slots? Any info or ideas is appreciated.

Although you can make the templates for those slots (on some levels certainly of value for skill-ups), at present there are no accompanying armor recipes.

Guess we'll just have to see if any turn up in the future, but I imagine it will be pretty distant.

Though I would REALLY love if casters could get a cultural leather look tunic from the silk tunic templates .

The concept of eventually moving all smithed/tailored armor over to the new cultural template system in the future has been mentioned where even the old banded or fine plate armor might use the templates and thus the non-visible slots have templates.

They currently have no use beyond skill up combines and are similar to tiers of templates that do not correspond to armor tiers.
