    House of Commons for October

    I'm not really sure when the next HoC chat is (I would think next week, but AFAIK, it hasn't been announced.)

    However, with all the cultural stuff, I figured I'd get a head start.

    You know the drill. Questions for Ngreth about tradeskill realated issues (SoF or otherwise.) As always, please formulate them in such a way that I don't have to spend a lot of time retyping them (that means clear, concise, and not too long or the HoC QTs will reject them.)

    Ngreth will peek, because he's an ogre and that's what ogres do (well, that and eat halflings.)

    OK, so, here we go . . . . .

    Will the new expansion with all of the clockwork creatures we will be seeing drop the tradeskill useable clockwork components?

    Will we be able to make the level 80 cultural armor soon after the expansion releases (and people grind to 80 and determine the drops/recipes) or is this like some of the other groupable loot and expected to take several months to achieve?

    Are there any multi-discipline tradeskill quests in the works for SoF?

      That one I can answer (it's been asked and answered by Ngreth at a previous HoC chat, so it's already public info.) There is a new tradeskill quest that takes all of the 7 major trades.

          N'greth won't give you an exact ETA.. Soon (TM) or we're working on it will probably be your best answer..

          First the bugs to cultural need to be fixed, (poor ogres) then the research revamp goes in, bugs gonna happen there (murphy's Law), whatever bugs happen when SOF goes live, then Hopefully he gets to move on to the next item on his list (poison revamp?)

            AFAIK, HoC chat still not announced. But I'll keep the questions until the next one.

            Lot of stuff on the new cultural, but I'm not sure what's a current question and what's been answered. So if you could repost here, I'd appreciate it, and try to get them asked.

              I know what the answer will be, but I would like to see it brought up in a public forum once in awhile. I dont' blaim N'greth because it happened way before his time at SOE, but it is extremely frustrating waiting for something promised years ago to the rogue community.

                I almost never answer "when" questions in the HoC chat. It just leads to problems when for whatever reason, usually beyond my control, I cannot keep the date I specified.

                  When SOF goes live, will the new cultural drops be global again (on appropriate mobs), or limited to SOF zones? (TSS has some zones with likely candidates for being in the level range.)

                    They will be global as some of them have already been seen on live servers on some of the higher end TSS and TBS mobs.

                      Drat, you and Ngreth's responsiveness is making it hard to come up with questions. <grin>

                      I guess the only thing I can think of is: will the patch to make it so players can not 'experiment' to make elaborate cultural armor be delayed until the ogre elaborate armor recipe book is fixed - as currently ogres cannot 'learn' elaborate plate recipes from scribing the book, only via experimentation?

                            Level 7? That's the +15% one?
