        Malleable Antonican Ore?

I can see this component in my Intricate Clavigar recipes, but I cannot figure out how to obtain the item, either a vendor to purchase it from, or a recipe to create it. Any help/suggestions?

Vendor. Try whoever sold other cultural ores.

Because of skill level, not all players can scribe, learn all recipes appropriate for their race. But in reading various threads, I am getting the idea armor loaded with "experiment" is still an option, and that if your components are correct and you beat the rng you can combine a true piece of cultural armor. Is this correct?

Kelethin Cultural Smithing / Tailoring vendor suggestion

              Hello,

if you get a chance and could add the cultural supplies to the following two vendors in Kelthin, it would be greatly appreciated:

              Tailoring: Merchant Gaeadin
              Smithing: Merchant Niwiny

              Thank you very much

This is correct for now, but Ngreth has stated that it is a bug that will be fixed. You should ONLY be able to make the armor if you have scribed the appropriate book.

the ores and thread should be there in kelethin, except for test. If you mean the OTHER parts... it may be a while.

I have 262 skill in tailoring with my Expert trophy and mastery 3.

I made by experiment, a full set of Superb Leather Templates for use with Elaborate armor combines. I do not have access to the books to scribe the recipes, but I was able to look them up here and figure out what pieces I needed. It also said I learned the recipes and would then let me load them in to the tradeskill UI. I need to find some more Excellent Marrow to attempt the armor combines, but I believe those are not able to be learned without the book.

I can confirm that they are also learned (at least, smithing Elaborate Twoscale and Trooper wrist and glove pieces did on skill 262 Iksar Smith - and got a skill up to 263).

One question I have is about which container you must use? I was on my Halfling druid and I scribed the books but when I was in the guild hall I clicked on the loom and lo and behold the recipies were there, I did not try to make them just was wondering if we could use standard containers for the appropriate tradeskill or if we had to use the DON cultural containers?

The templates can be made anywhere, I believe. The final armors have to be made in a cultural kit or forge. At least, that's the way I understand it. I didn't see the armor recipes when I visited a forge in PoK, but I did see some template recipes when I used the forge in the bazaar.

I can confirm this. Templates for both smithing and tailoring can be made in any appropriate container (with the appropriate number of slots, which is generally only a problem with sewing kits and silk legs/chest combines). Cultural armor combines (Elaborate/Intricate/Ornate/Simple) may only be done in cultural containers. I do not recall whether or not symbols can be made in non-cultural containers though.

On a semi-related note, and I realize this is selfish and likely unreasonable, it sure would be nice to have some sort of portable cultural forge. Trekking back to Halas to do cultural smithing combines is...inconvenient. /whine off.

                              Water!

                              Neriak 3rd Gate: Krystiana N`Ryt at 857, -1499, -80

Would be awesome, there is no water in this zone for smithing

I know I can (and do) zone over to Neriak Commons for water, it's just a suggestion. I think the tailor / smith template patterns are just fine where they are at.

The "Tradeskill_Books" npc's "a cultural xyz historian" in POK appear to only have an elaborate book for Smithing. The equivalent elaborate book for tailoring and tinkering isn't present.

Hrm found this in the big thread:
"I'm not happy that I can't purchase the recipes for Elaborate armour with a base skill of 254 (+15% mod & smithing3 AA) despite the fact I've been making it for a year now."

So I assume the books are only visible if you're at or above a certain skill level. That's pretty ****ty.
