New Smithing & Tailoring Drops

I thought they were buttons. I may of course be wrong, I have not played a class that gets either.

Actually Heartshot and Headshot (and possibly Assassinate) work on Humanoids and Animals.

A much easier way to check is use the Magelo NPC search, it displays Body types (and yes, Lakeskaters in Vald are all tagged as humanoid).

I didn't know there was any way to find body types for creatures. That's very useful - thanks a bunch.

Just curious, should bats and/or rats be dropping pelts at least?

Or are rats and bats considered too small an animal to drop them?

We were in CoAnguish last night. We killed all the way through AMV (100+ mobs) and not one tradeskill drop. Oops? Or working as intended? During the "LoN early" weekend, we were getting drops.

I'm the ML, so I didn't just "miss" them.

bats rats will not be dropping it.

I do not know specifically the m0obs in CoAnguish but it is possible there are none of the target mobs.

In CoA: Aneuks, Dragorns, Ikaaves, Lightning warriors, golems, girplans, ukun hounds.

Then went to MPG and RCOD and killed another hundred or so, including nocs and kyvs and still no drops.

I just ask that you check.

Most stuff in Anguish is a "Muramite" rather than a "Humanoid"
Golems should fit the made of rock type, but there really aren't that many of them so you could conceivably not get a drop.
Discordlings are summoned..but not made of rock.
Ture is an animal (as are the pit fiends in the KTH event).

Dragorns are humanoids in most other zones, but not in Anguish.

I have seen Cobalt Ores drop from Angiush trash although I could not say with certainty exactly what dropped them. However, there are a handful of "golems" in there, so that may be a possibility. The ores were quite rare (maybe 1 per aug run since the new components went in).

I do not specifically recall seeing any Pelts and/or Silks drop from any trash in Anguish. It is likely that there are just not very many mobs in there with the proper racial "flag" to drop them.
