Cultural tribute?

Weren't we supposed to be able to tribute symbols and what not this past patch? I cant remember where I read that, but I confirmed my groggy memory with my better half so I dont think Im totally nuts.

I ask before I destroy 15 bags of symbols ive been hanging on to forever

I do not think we are going to have another patch before SoF.

Additionally, I do not know if I will have the work done in time for any possible patch that is before that.

Given the timing of the release of SoF, I expect we'll probably "just" have the same Halloween quests that have been live for the last couple of years - anything beyond that would be a bonus.

They can also patch em early.

They get a script on them that says "if it is this date range... spawn"

Now I am not fully informed here on if they have already gone in, but there are some new ones that were planned.

Any hint to what this year's event will be like? And is there a robe graphic for vah shir beastlord? I got a giant broom from Kael and if I can get a robe, I could use dyes and pass off as Quidditch player in EQ

Robe graphics are a humongous amount of work, so not something that can be added during the two weeks or so that someone gets to work on "holiday" events. We are talking literally hundreds of man hours.

Oh well. Funny thing is other non Vah Shir beastlord (and monk) do get robe graphic from a chest item that drops in Sleeper Tomb. Vah Shir was added in the next expansion but graphic was never created for them.

Robe graphics are by race. If your race has a class that can wear a robe, then your race has a robe graphic.
If you are a Barbarian, Ogre, Troll, Half Elf, Halfling, Wood Elf, Dwarf, or Vah Shir then no robe graphic was ever created for your race.

I've been gone for 3 months ... illness. I got back to see that the long awaited cultural changes had finally taken place. (Hurrah!) So I transferred the couple of bags of cultural armor from one mule abd ran to my guild hall. No joy! (Sigh) And with me gone for 3 months, my guild is starving for tribute.

Oh, well. I trust Ngreth to get it done eventually. (Smile) Hopefully, it'll happen before I destroy the stuff.
