Some help with new Cultural stuff....

    (RE: Half Elf)

    There seem to be:

    11 Books on General Smithing
    11 Books on General Tailoring
    4 Books on Charms
    4 Books on Smithing Symbols
    4 Books on Tailoring Symbols
4 Books on Half Elf Smithing
4 Books on Half Elf Tailoring

    Did I miss any?

I also found The Resurgence of History Part 1 to 5 that seem to reveal what race uses what. These books are attunable for some reason? (No Scribe button.)

The Tailoring Symbol scrolls leave out the need for the Pattern.

The Cultural Tailoring Books erroneously say we need a "Combine" needle... Half Elves use a NORRATHIAN needle.

Culture Combines can only make the following final Cultural Armor: Armband, Boots, Cuirass, Gloves, Greaves, Helm or Sleeves.

However -- recipes for templates additionally include: Neck, Back, Face & Shoulders.

Have they added these and they need to be discovered for final combine?

I see a ton of recipes that aren't Half Elf related. Example, Half Elves dont wear (or make) Silk items.

Is it possible we can now actually make stuff for other races as well???

The template combines are not race restricted - anyone can make silk, leather, chain or plate regardless of what classes are available for their race. Also, there are currently far more templates than are actually used to make cultural armor. Right now, only 4 of the 11 tiers are used, and only the visible slots can be made into armor (same as before). There is no use for the remaining pieces other then to provide a smooth skill up path, though I think they are planning to add recipes for these in the future.

I wasn't paying attention this morning when scribing all these books, was there a separate book (or books) for the SEALS? (Chronal, Discordant., BAzu & LAst Blood) ?

Seals are not cultural, why would those recipes have changed?

              Seals

The Seals are essentially cultural. They only fit into Cultural armor.

The seal recipes may be on the slate for change, but they have not changed yet. Something to keep an eye out for in the future though.

I think I mostly failed to disable the old seal recipes... there are new ones out there and I may have missed a book...

Ah, I'd thought maybe it was just pushed back until SoF came out. I didn't really bother reading the books so not sure if any discussed the DoDh Seals.

It appears the Jewelry Combines are still in place as well (re: Water).

I tried to trade in 2 waters I had with Caerlyna and got them right back.

Left in on purpose as a skill up path?

The cultual waters are used raw (not enchanted) in new recipes.
