Ok so I got bored last week and started this quest, im down to just needing the Spiritual Anchor from the named ghoul in south ro. Since this item is used in a ts combine figured maybe someone here would know the answer. How do u spawn the named ghoul? I just slaughter the zone over and over and sometimes he pops right away and others times i go long periods. I have read all the posts on allah and theya re no help, some peopel say only at night or only kill undead or only kill spiders and sand giants. I have spent 16+ hours at tryign to get thsi last item and im starting to go nutz

edit...nvm i found out the trick, was to just complain about it and then it dropped within a hour

I have found that trick frequently works on everything from rare drops to skillups.

It helps if you are as indignant as possible or even a bit whiny just to maximize the embarassment when you come back a few minutes later to admit you got what you were looking for.

When I did this abut 3 years ago, it took 9 months (killing the rare spawn 36 times) before dropping my item.

I hope the zone's revamp makes it easier on you.

I used to slaughter undeads, and also whenever i had a spare 5 mins, I would port and run through the zone, his track and then leave.

figured i would post a reply to this. FOr that portion i found the best way tog et the named ghoul to spawn was kill everything near the nro where there is a camp of merchants at. I had a my ranger bot there with track up to tell when he respawned and once i started killing there he seemed to pop fairly quickly and allways seemed to be from the same area between the camp and the body of water there. Was the last item i needed so had the final product that night. I will say the CT drop was the biggest pita part though for me.
