Ak'anon Forge?

Hiyas I have been saving up some yttrium ore to go on a cultural smithig binge with my gnome.. to my suprise lastnight i found the ak'anon forge name has changed to a clockwork forge.. i am no longer able to make the combines ><

that was the only ak'anon forge listed in the city.. right outside the forge of defiance.. i was at the right loc.. and remember doing it there before... am I just gimp or am i missing something? is it no longer possible to make cultural plate?

I recently did combines on my gnome for the cultural smithing and it worked fine. Items that come to mind: is the character a gnome, is it the correct forge (inside the "palace"), do you have the correct recipe?

Aye the recipe was right, it said you can't combine in this container type, and definately a gnome hehe =) not sure about inside the palace.. there is only 1 Ak'anon forge listed and it's outside the forge of defiance.. i stood on the loc where it said the Ak'anon forge would be.. and instead of it being called an Ak'anon forge it's called a clockwork forge.. there is 1 around the corner but it's just a regular forge.. so no clue.

That is the correct forge.

Please list EXACTLY what items you put in the forge for what recipe. Also what server are you on (Test and beta server will have a different result than live)

And just for the record, if you're getting this on Beta, you shouldn't be posting about it here, since that violates your NDA. Beta topics should only be discussed on Sony's beta forums.

Just a note, sometimes old maps have "Ak'Anon forge" listed where the only (at the time) forage was located and because of the city this one was named "Ak'Anon forge".

When infact the Ak'Anon (cultural) forge (for live servers) is in building 13.

I haven't tried in a while, but I've never had a problem. It is the forge outside the building in the area of town near the Town Crier and Tribute NPC, and that chick elf.

I wasn't assuming anything, actually. I was responding to Ngreth's post where he mentioned Beta. I've seen Beta NDA's before, and I don't think it would be a good idea to suggest that people should violate their NDA by posting their Beta bugs here. That's why I added "just for the record" at the start of my sentence.

I should have been a lawyer. Then I could get paid for discussions like this. /grin
