what to skill thinking about changes in SoF?

I'd like my Drakkin to get his tradeskills up to the maximum.
With all those changes coming, it seems wise to skill fast on certain easy combines that could become harder after changes happening in SoF.
I'm thinking about Jewelcraft (apparently no storebought gem+metal could make you go above 200) or Smithing with MCS "probably" getting nerfed.
Are there others tradeskills that will be impacted and that I should skill in a hurry ?

All we know officially is what Ngreth has said on the open fourms. We know that JC is getting a total revamp, and the old style research is going the way of the dodo.

JC looks like it will be harder post 200, so that's not a bad bet to work on.

And tailoring should get easier. In the end I think Smithing might be a bit "easier" though it will not have the MCS... It should at least be cheaper.

Haha, I am at 298 smithing. I thought the exact same thing!

But I just love imbuing emeralds en mass and making celestial essence! In fact, now that I hit 300 smithing today, I will just make them for the sake of making them. I can try tapering off to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

I enjoyed smithing the most! I do confess I did some sickles, but as much as possible I farmed everything.
