Tradeskillers Guild

It would be a blast to be in a tradeskillers only guild then need to random every TS flagged drop. That guild bank would be as empty as my heart. I've seen the greedy (in regualr guilds) come out of the woodwork when elemental raids used to go off just to plead/claim/bid for every last tradeskill drop. Do NOT get me started on the crab parts!

EQRankings still works. The data may be a little old, but for the most part, it is still a solid reference and is free. The other thing you might try is posting in the marketplace section on these forums on your server if you are in need of someone to make something for you.

Stromm has a web page (I imagine all the other servers do also). There is a "Market Square" section that has a list of tradeskillers and their race, tradeskill AA's, skills in tradeskills, whether they can do the Ancestral Armor, etc. What has to be understood is that it is voluntary to get listed. Just as similar lists anywhere else.

EQPlayers won't even get you a complete list as many players don't keep it updated and have turned off autoupdate. Also, EQPlayers has the option to turn off viewing information (i.e., I can restrict access to my profile).

EQRankings (btw, it is back up and running) gets its data Magelo. These are third party sites unaffiliated with Sony. Their data is also incomplete.

In short, there is no way to get a complete list, much less an up to date list.

I was looking for a smith to make some armor for an alt. I went to EQRankings and searched on my server for the race with smithing skill. I took about 6 names of people that might be able to do it. I sent eqmails and tells to them until someone agreed to help me (donated for their time too).

It is not hard and most tradeskillers are friendly and willing to help unless they are busy at the moment. No one gets to 300 smithing and then not do combines ever again.
