So, I'm going to FF this year. Yay me.

I'll have the chance to raise issues with the devs. So, what are the issues. For FF, I'll accept any and all issues you have (though, for this thread, please keep it to TS issues only. If you have others, please PM me here or on the Sony forums.)

To the Mods, I know there is a somewhat similar thread, but it had a title that people may not be drawn to. So I apologize for a somewhat duplicate.

I'd like to know what research recipes are going to be released in Nov. IS it going to include everything upto and including TSS. IF so can we research Rank3 TSS spells?

With the quest / task system, and task timers....

Perhaps the time has come for a better solution than "farm till your eyes bleed" for tradeskills.

A task giver. Standing next to a vendor.

Task - Return with 4 Item_X

Vendor sells Item_X for a silly amount of money. And Item_X drops randomly of various mobs. (could be level dependent.. like spiderlings drop minor_X, bigger spiders drop lesser_X, PoValor spiders drop greater_X, and Valdehome spiders drop major_X ... then it takes 3 of a lower value to combine to a higher value, and 3 of major_X to make Item_X)

Reward - Choice of one skill point in tradeskill of your choice.

Tasktimer - 45 minute timeout

Now it's possible to farm, while experience hunting at the same time. Or just grind plat and sink that from the economy. And there wouldn't be a trillion skill ups in an hour, so it would still take time and dedication to master the tradeskills. But there would be no more complaints that one skill is harder to do than any others, or that certain race/class combos have an inside track.

If you price Item_X at 1000 plat on the vendor, that's 400k to go from 200 to 300 in a skill. And the timeout means 75 hours /played to do so. That's 75 hours of no katta missions, no depths missions, no Dain missions. It's faster than farming is now, but that's the goal. To make it a little faster.

hmm...one suggestion I could make with regards to those Mana Crystals that are "left over" at the end of the Grand Oracle Robe quest, is to make it so that when you hand the crystals to the oracle's Assistant, he gives you another Sea Foam Sugar (and the Crystals back).

This would be a way to allow folks who did the quest the ability to make more vials of palatable mana for personal use.

Hell, while we're on the subject of mysterious leftovers ...

Quest out of Valdeholm "The Shattered Gift" results in two items of the same name:

Staff of Frozen Flames, which is a primary slot 1hb with a fire focus effect
-and-
Staff of Frozen Flames, which is a no-stat unequippable item with a plain crystal graphic.

The mysterious no-stat item has taken up residence in the bank directly next to my Mana Crystals

I still want updated things in Kunark. The Haggol Barron must get off his tail and start doing his job. We have a Haggol Barron, so we have a way to get new things to the city. It's such a nice place to tradeskill!

Ngreth did make a comment about that once. He said that if we ever get to see the Plane of the Underfoot, then he might do an upgrade where the shawl is blessed by Brell himself.
