I wonder if it would be possible to upgrade the abysmal sea tradeskill quest to match those in Crescent reach...I like knowing where I am in the quest and also I have in the past had Real Life pull me away before I finished the last abysmal combine and when I came back a day or two later I had to start over at the beginning, not sure if it was me just bugged of the quest.../shrug

It should remember where you are in the quest series, and start you back up at that point. I've done that a number of times.
I'll put this on my list of questions to ask Ngreth next time. I'm going to FF, so I'll need to put toegher a long list (I'll also take questions non-TS related for this. Feel free to PM me here or on the SOE forums.)

I believe one of the dev said no to change in Abysmal Sea quests since you also "learn" to use GOD materials when you complete the tradeskill quests. There is no such bonus in crescent reach.Grolyn Blacknife

Personally I really don't care whether it is changed, just the problem I hav had in the past with getting called away due to real life and then having to restart from the beginning.

So this leaves me to believe that I am somehow bugged with the quests, so much so I will not start one unless I am certain I can finish it, the only reason I would like to see an update like Crescent Reach is that you have a quest window showing you where you are at in relation to the quests.Strokker~Fennin Ro

Probably you are bugged. Once I left JC in the middle of the run. I came back a couple months later and in less than 15 minutes I was "done" and able to refine GOD materials.Grolyn Blacknife

I have a shaman that started the abysmal sea quests a wihle back. He stopped when he hit 54, and never completed that tier. I'll go back and check to see if it starts me over again or if I start back where I left off.
