Ditto on falling thru the elevator, particularly with my little gnome tinkerbot. A set of stairs somewhere would be nice.

BTW, IS there a port directly from pok to CReach? I know of the one from pok to blightfire moors........
The elevator, like the one in pok, if you have any degree of lag, you will go through the surface of the elevator. Unlike pok, falling damage does still apply. Also, unlike pok, the sheer degree of plummet tends to result in less than 900 hp.
Alas, low level toon is likely to squishie.
It looks nice, and the zone has a tremendous amount of supplies on hand, but the mechanics of getting to some of them is.... less than happy. I do find myself wondering just what draconic mind thought up the sprocket / shaft elevator.... w/ no enclosing grill, or what not. Reminds me of a meat grinder.... /shudder
Some form of altered shroud bank would be interesting.

i prefer CR over abysmal any day.. can never find anything on those dang boats,and find is useless.
personal instances where we could have a drawer to store our tools was what came to my mind,but then again : No thx!
not with waiting times of up to 30 min (on AB),to get into an instance..
and no,theres no port directly to CR from pok.Puzzykhat 76 Vah Bst

Beside GH is sometime bugged when working on the trophy for skillups.

Unless I need something that is most likely found in CR, I usually head to Abysmal Sea. Been there often enough that I can find the general NPC without using find feature.Grolyn Blacknife

Tradeskills and zones
CR isn't bad as a location, but it depends on what TS you are working on. Getting there takes a run through Blightfire but getting back is an easy two zone through DS.
Abysmal is better for brewing/cooking things that go together (like the sauces for the meats). With brewing and baking on separate levels in CR, I had to run a bit to get the beer batter made...
As for the Find in Abysmal, I found that it depends on where I am. I can find from outside the Magus room for some NPCs, but I have to go down and into the door in the lower section for others. However, those two places will usually get me one!
Now, I have a question, I've seen the reference to the bug with GH, but I've not read about that. Can someone drop me a link?

I expect the elevators are part of the security of the CR fortress. There probably is or was a way to lock them from the higher levels, to prevent access or slow an attack and defend the royal level.

Guild Hall Add-On
I'd rather see a Guild Hall add on.
All those doors in the Hall lead to nada.
Make one lead to Bazaar (using the old Barter connection from Bazaar).
Make another lead to a Guild "Tradeskill Hall."
The different Bankers there could then hold all the tools (various hammers, various combine containers, various needles and so forth an so on)... so long as they aren't No Trade items.
Guild Tradeskillers can then pull them out for use and put them back afterwards (tool sharing).
And there would be three merchants (one in place of Tribute person) that sell the TS supplies.
Problem would arise, however, with folks not putting tools back, I suppose.Bonzz of Bertoxx

I really hate Abymsal Sea and even CR. Lag is great. I hate lag with a passion, and the boats.. the mysterious forces waste my time, plus with Taanan stuff one must go to PoK half the time anyway. The character spam from the cat city is cool, (which is also too laggy!) but I really hate constant spam in Abysmal sea. Any old zone is always better for me!
