    I had some pretty good luck on Monkey Rock island in the non-instanced version of Buried Sea. I did have a necro friend there helping me kill, which sped up my rate considerably (Cleric & Warrior isn't the most DPS friendly duo in the world) but I collected 7 or 8 pieces of ore in under an hour. Not an exceptionally high number, but enough to get my attention at the time

      Try doing LDONs. Seem to get a few every mission. Not something you can write home to brag about, but it's steady at least.
