Collapsed morotr and Pestle (and others) Cannot use now?

I cannot use my Collapsed mortor and pestle that i used to use since tradeskill change. (combine button doens't high light and saying can't use this for this cmobine..) I probably figure my other collapsed spit, sewing kit.. those aren't usable either.
Is there any substitute items out there? hopefully they collapsed.
I've been searching for answers in forums.. but no success.

Only Rogues can use M&P now, but the "general" combines that other classes used M&P for should now all work in the mixing bol. If not, /bug it and report the combination here. (The collapsed "general use" items are still usable by all - exception being collapsed toolbox and possibly folded medicine bag).

(Personally, I think this is a retrograde step for a M&P -- a better thing to do would have been to create a poisons-only container for rogues, a M&P has more traditional uses to do with cooking and alchemy even than the narrow "poisons" usage in EQ. Maybe just rename the current M&P to "Poisoner's Mortar and Pestle" and re-create a regular M&P that's just a disguised mixing bowl?

I kinda like that idea, actually. M&P has so much more flavor (pardon the pun) than just a mixing bowl, especially when combining some things you'd never eat (celestial solvent? eww! and yes I know CE is used in some food, but still).

Well... I seem to get people threatening to lynch me each time I add a new conatiner... I can't win!

The difference is that this would be just a renamed mixing bowl; the functionality would be identical. Those who like lore and role-playing could get the new container; those who don't could stick with a mixing bowl for simplicity. I don't know how hard it would be to mass-update all mixing bowl recipes to also use the new container, though.

Don't worry Ngreth there is no tradeskill combinne for a rope yet so you cannot be lynched...yet. You just keep doing what you are doing, Tradeskills seem to be the only joy I get out of the game anymore.

But how hard is it to crush windstone in a plain mizing bowl? M&P has the tool for crushing but mixing bowl don't. So I put the windstone there and it mysteriously turn to dust?

Suggestion for old M&P recipes that has been moved to mixing bowl: add a tool for the actual crushing when needed. I couldn't find a tool that could be used other than various smithing hammer or my Grandma's 18 year old fruit bread.

I just set the mixing bowl with the windstones in it on the ground and let my trust horsey step on 'em! Sometimes I end up needing to uncollapse my mixing bowl again... but it's built tinker-tough!
