  • Etched acrylia runes

so i was thinking as i was buying up bricks of black acrylia why isnt there anything to do with those etched acrylia runes that are always being vendor trashed / How about a new set of acrylia weapons say around 260 skill trivial or whatever.

You would melt one of each rune into a blockof acrylia for the base metal used for the armors

For tailoring the runes could be "sewn" or glued on
There are lots of things they could be used for the only trade skill i dont see them fitting into would be bakeing and even then you could make utensils out of them for it. Its not like they are good vendor trash items they dont sell for very much

Those are dirt common, grimling drops them like they're water. If they were used in tradeskill, I wouldn't count on anything higher than 50's for trival.

They actually serve as the system of currency of the grimlings. The rarity of a certain type (and the increased value to NPCs) is similar to how a 50 dollar bill is worth more than a 5.

The grimlings do not drop coins directly, as I recall.

Isn't a 50 worth more than a 5, because it is worth 50, not because it is rarer?

Only to those that believe the currency system. To anyone else, they're just pieces of paper -- there is no "inherent" value there.

Hmmmm -- in my life, 50s are exceedingly rarer than 5s. Sigh.
