  • PoR Trophy Creation Question

It's been a while since I've done this, so here goes.

If I create a Tinkering Trophy via the PoR Trophy Quest, and my tinkering skill is say 225, is my Journeyman Tinkering Trophy 0% evolved or 25% evolved, or something totally different?

Would love to make the lower level Trophy because it's easier to find the parts, but don't want to start at 0% evolved when I'm halfway or further to 250.

    Thanks!

If you didn't get the trophy task earlier, the task will be based on your current skill. And when you finish, and do the combine to evolve it using the certificate, if you are at say 225 skill, the trophy will be 50% evolved (225 is halfway between 200 and 250).

Thanks! Slip of my keyboard when I stated 25% in my original post. So much for that math degree. Waiting for Everquest Anniversary Edition(backordered everywhere) to get PoR for my second account, so I should be able to get the trophy quest long before I hit 250. I'm at 220 and pushing further now, but will likely peeter out in the 230's due to supplies running out.

I got my Jewlcraft trophy quest at 50 skill level then I don't know why I did it I just went on a spree making jewlery combines and then finished my trophy when I was at skill 190. When I finally turned in my trophy quest items and got my trophy it was for the beginner not the stage I should be at I was a little dissapointed and I guess I had not done much more in jewlcraft... It has been a while since I looked on this particular toon or even at jewlcraft on this toon but this thread made me go look and I am not sure why it didnt evolve...Guess I got a lot of work to go since it wont evolve unless it is a sucessful light blue or better combine.

You got the beginner trophy because you had the beginner task (if you had done the freshman task you would have gotten a beginner trophy and a certificate that would have evolved it to a freshman trophy 80% complete). The good news is it should only take 1-2 (non-trivial) combines for your trophy to evolve to apprentice (and not that many more than that to evolve again to freshman).
