  • Dyn`leth Steel 2H Sword

    Dyn`Leth Steel 2h Sword
    Slot: PRIMARY
Skill: 2H Slashing Atk Delay: 43
    DMG:12 Dmg Bonus: 62
This item can be used in tradeskills.
    WT: 10.0 Size: LARGE
Class: WAR PAL RNG SHD BER
    Race: ALL

I had this drop from Green Legion Commander in Goru`kar Mesa the other day but couldn't find it listed in the tradeskill database. I tried breaking the sword down to just ore but that didn't work.

    sword + water = fail
    sword + chisel = fail
    sword + chisel + water = fail
    sword + hammer = fail
    sword + hammer + water = fail

Is this just a mislabeled item or has anyone found a use for it? Thanks!

Did you try a sharpening stone?
Also might be a quest item, which might explain the 'Tradeskills' tag.

I tried a sharpening stone last night and that didn't work either. There's some different weapons, like an axe and a dagger, that dropped from the same squad that all had the tradeskill tag on them. I cast Identify on them but there's no info for them other than the item name. It's a pity we can't upgrade the sword, because it has a pretty sweet graphic.

Oh well, I guess 12dmg with a 62 bonus would be ok for a new toon.

those are probably Copy and Paste leftovers... I think those are just "cash" or "dress-up" loot. (dress-up loot being cool looking things for NPC's to carry)

Damage bonus is level based - so a new toon won't have one. After level 2h (since its a 2h) the toon will start seeing a damage bonus, but it'll be small.

Not so good for a new toon after all, but there are worse 2h to twink with.
