Having spent several weeks in Griegs End I can confirm that Ore drops from any of the mobs at Gate and also any of the mobs between right cubby and down to just before the Epic2.00 mobs. Whilst Pebbles drop from any of the mobs in other areas of the zone

I just consolidated all of the known information about sunshard drops as best I could. It's listed below.

In order to narrow down the exact ranges of mobs, we'll need people to know the exact levels of the mobs they killed and to report that in The Buried Sea updates.

Right now, if I had to take a guess, I'd say that the drops happen somewhat like this:

L01 - L50 Sunshard Dust
L51 - L60 Sunshard Pebble
L61 and Over Sunshard Ore

But it could easily be
L01 - L49 Sunshard Dust
L50 - L59 Sunshard Pebble
L60 and Over Sunshard Ore

Can anyone help narrow it down further?? Do you know the level ranges for any of the mobs listed below?

WoS: many mobs in upper 60 range, the lowest I think is 62 as they became light blue when I dinged 68. There's some dragorns that are below 60 but I have not seen any sunshard drop yet so no idea which one they drop, if any at all.

What's the lowest level that's been seen for mobs dropping the dust? There might be a minimum level cap for it.

One player reported seeing Sunshard Ore off the undead in Ruins of Lxanvonm, but since he didn't get exact names I'm not sure it will help narrow things down. (It is, however, another possible hunting ground to test!)

Confirmed that Sunshard Ore drops in Old Sebilis off Juggernauts; not entirely sure of their level but they are l-blue to 71.

Perhaps the easiest source I've found for the Ore so far, as mage at 71 with bare minimum of aa and very low pet focus (minion of darkness), I am able to solo 4 juggs at once with pet and end up with 50m.

I can confirm dust to drop off the high end level 20 mobs in unrest.
I also think there might be a minimum level to drop dust. as I didnt see any dust until I started grinding basement and the higher floor mobs.

I have gotten both pebbles and ores hunting in cazic thule. I think i got all of them in the sewers but i kill a lizard here and there. Have gotten 28 pebbles to 6 ore.

I think i got one of an unmasked changling which is lvl 60

Dust also drops in Castle Mistmoore, Frontier Mountains, Dalnir, and a few other places..
I have gotten well over 40+ of them just slaughtering random trash mobs while waiting on the >insertlevelhere< Khukri for Iksar SK..
On that note .. /complain about Couriers in CoM constantly dropping the same page
(Killed 5 or 6 couriers, They drop 3 Lore pages, I have looted 1 page, and gotten a "lore item, cant loot,etc" message the others .. got irritating so im leveling now XD)

I can confirm sunshard ore drops from level 58 mobs in GE (Belligerant guards, etc), and sunshard pebbles drop from the 53-55 level mobs in GE (Tormented Mercenary, etc). Those beyond the gate are level 57-58 and have never dropped a pebble for me, only ore. Those closer to DSP or SD are level 53-55 and never dropped ore, only pebbles.
Also Twilight Sea mobs drop dust, but I'm not sure what levels they are.

Howling Stone seems to drop only sunshard pebbles. No dust or ore.
