I think about 5 - 10 pp is a good price. If as you say it is a friend maybe a little less.

Yep. On my server, silks go about 1-3PP while swatches go 7-10PP (I have seen people attempt to sell them for a lot more, but I do not know how well they go).
Spiderling silks usualy go 1-2PP, threads go 5-10PP (same as above with overchargers..).
I usualy try to make a circle from EFP, to EC, WC, (back to EC), NRo, Oasis, WFP, EFP.
Though that I usualy get about 5-10 stacks of spider silks, 1 stack of swatches, 5-10 stacks of spiderling silks, misc. pelts of various qualities (LQ, MQ, HQ) etc..Draggar De'Vir
