After 7 days your corpse end up in Shadowrest, and you must go there to access any older corpses.

If I was to store trade skill goods on a corpse, wouldn't that corpse just be summoned during my corpse retrieval times after raid wipes? I wouldn't want to waist 290 plat summoning corpses that aren't going to be viable for rezes anyway.

When you give the corpse summoner the stone they summon all corpses still in game.
Found ths out while trying to place my body bank corpses in an out of way place in guild lobby heh. Sumoned and dragged second one i made and thought ACK! first ones gone...
Found it back at the summoner, then when did the 3rd all 3 bodies went back there with the hand in and so on.
But as mentioned above after 7 days your bodybanks will go to shadowrest.
Also if you have the vet reward expedient recovery you can make your body banks then use that to summon them all to a handy tradeskill location.
