Been having lots of trouble with the boards the last few days because of the tricky little word-matches bug, and my inability to edit or add new posts to my old thread. So here's a very short version of the 1750 club for now. Hope this post goes through!

While I may not be a member of the 1750 club, I managed to push my smithing over the 220 mark and have the 15% hammer from Ssra. This, along with all my other skils that are at 250 (with tropies) means that all skills have hit that wonderous 252 mark. WOOT! I'll get smithing up to 1750 some day, I'm just not going to push it as hard as I did the others.

Good luck to Perl to be the first person on Sol Ro to hit that 1750 mark!

1750?

What's the name 1750 mean really.. is it all the skill points added up? If so does that include tinkering.. alchemy.. and poisonmaking or are those people in a different club

Most races/classes can only get to 1750(7 base trade skills to 250(tailoring, baking, brewing, jewelry, black smithing, pottery, and fletching)).

Gnomes are the only ones that can tinker.

Shamen are the only ones that can do Alchemy.

Rogues are the only ones that can do poison.

A gnome rogue can hit 2250(7 base + poison + tinkering) but that would be the highest.

Well I'm close, but I dont forsee working on smithing any time soon. I do someday want to hit 1750 but my immediate goal is the earring and smithing is just so painful. Failed my first fire tunic attempt for the earring and need to do some more PoFire farming. Maybe after I sell these 50 sickles I'll get back to smithing.
