In the guild hall you can do loads of tradeskilling however things like mixing bowls aren't available - could it be possible to let the guild hall vendors sell such items?

Or better yet, add tradeskill vendors to the guild halls. Just the basic items that you would on your common tradeskill vendor.

Talk to your guild banker, about having some tradeskill containers left in the guild bank for use by all of your guild. Somebody takes the container out of the guild bank when they need it and put it back in when they are done.Rawckett Launcher

Excellent "outside the box thinking"! Finaly a place I can store some of those silly specific containers; like my Coldain tanner/sewing kit..

Until someone doesn't return it. Sorry there needs to be SEVERAL TS vendors in the guild hall. Any of you who actually suggest you waste guild bank space with NPC sold items obviously doesn't run a bank of a guild that actually has people using it regularly.
I think that when they finally get around to expanding the guild hall they need to put in the vendors that are in Freeport/Abysmal Sea in the guild hall.

The guild hall is not a tradeskill hall. It is a place for your guild that has been furnished with a set of tradeskill containers that you have very much reduced competition for. If you need a mixing bowl in the guild hall, then I would suggest either using a bank slot (very impractical) or get a tinkerer to make you a collapsible one. You can even keep that in the bank if you don't want to carry it around with you at all times.
There was a thread a little while back that listed the "tools" for the tradeskills. The list was I think almost 50 items long, AT LEAST. To add enough vendors to an instanced zone to satisfy everyone would require the zone to be almost as large as Abysmal Sea or Crescent Reach.
It is not like it is hard to get from the Bazaar to PoK to the Guild Hall to do combines. There needs to be some reason to leave the guild hall. Unless you were a guild that did not raid, did not hunt and solely tradeskilled, then the guild hall has no need for tradeskill vendors except to satisfy the needs of 1%?5%? of the guild member population.Shawlweaver Sphynx on Cazic Thule

I have used the guild hall trades containers that are set up maybe ... twice. It's just way to inconvenient to load up on supplies and zone a few times to get to GH. I think Aldier nailed it: those containers allow you access to a container that is almost always free. No one can complain, "hey, I can't find a forge that isn't in use!"
That said, I haven't had to compete for a container in years. Even a simple tradeskills vendor in GH with like celestial solvent or a few other staple items would be sweet and make those free containers useful.

The only real times I do combines in the guild hall have been when guildmembers have asked me to make something for them and they have it in the bank. I meet them in the guild hall and can do the combine. Also, particularly of late, when I request help from an enchanter to make either vials of mana or enchant a material, they use the guild hall for the improved mana regeneration pool and I can do small combines in their while I wait, or go collect supplies in PoK/Bazaar while they are casting and then go back and just use the containers in the hall.Shawlweaver Sphynx on Cazic Thule

I use collapsible containers myself to save some room.
Nice idea, but in order to toss things back in the bank so others can take it out again people would have to be promoted to bankers, which would give them full acces to all the items in the bank. For guilds that have their banks filled with expensive items this would be too much of a risk.Originally posted by Rawckett View PostTalk to your guild banker, about having some tradeskill containers left in the guild bank for use by all of your guild. Depends on the items. My guild has a lot of vendorsold items in the guildbank: cloudy potions, all types of elixirs, a stack of batwings, peridots, emeralds, couple of bone chipped rods, some crystallized pumice's....Originally posted by KaliailaAny of you who actually suggest you waste guild bank space with NPC sold items obviously doesn't run a bank of a guild that actually has people using it regularly
In combination with gate, levi, ds, ivu, sow, fearune etc. potions, arrows, clicky items and stat food & drinks.
It's working out great for us. Almost everyone starts their day restocking their things in the guildhall before they go hunting and CR's go faster if the clerics can just grab pots from the bank.
It takes a lot of space though, 50% of our bankspace is currently filled with items we all use on a daily basis, the rest is filled with gear. Spells are on a mule and are tossed into the gb on request because they eat too much room.
But we're all loving it, most of our members are beyond droppable gear/spells, so this actually made the guildbank "usefull" to everyone.Dutchy Blackrose < Midnite Council of the Black Rose >
