  • Resetting Armor color after dye

Is there a way to reset the original color of an armor, after it has been Loy-dyed, beside dyeing it white?

No, dyeing it white is what you need to do to remove dye.

Note that if you use the white button on the color selector, you get a white-ish shade of dye. To restore the original color, you have to manually set the values to 255, 255, 255, either using the sliders or by typing in those numbers.

There is another option too, When you open the Dye window it will have 2 colors listed for your armor. The left column is the Default color of the item and if you hover your mouse over that box it will give you the RGB color code. You can then simply use that code in the Right Column and have your armor dyed its default color.

The difference would be if you then upgrade that piece of armor. Since the dye is by slot, not by armor piece, your new armor would get dyed the same color as your old, instead of having its natural color.

These methods do not work if your armors original color is pure black (ie. RGB=0,0,0) I have tried both methods. Dyeing it 255,255,255 gives white armor and the system will not accept a manual attempt at 0,0,0 it defaults to 25,25,25.
