Yew Leaf forage rate in WL

I am wonderinging what rate other folks trying to forage Yew Leaf in WL have had recently. (or posibly I am the only one nutty enough to be doing that on Prexus)

I am finding that I am able to forage less than 1 Yew Leaf per hour with a level 57 Ranger (maxed forage skill and with Natures Bounty level 1). Spending over 8 hours over a 2 week period to forage 5 Yew Leaf is what I would have to call a disincentive. I have not yet found a single ground spawn of Yew Leaf either.

Is this approximately the same rate of foarage other people remember or are experiencing now?

The foraging rate for yew leaves that you encountered sounds right. I once took a druid alternate to the Wakening Lands to see how many yew leaves he could dig up. One hour later, all he had to show for his efforts was a single yew leaf. Not only do yew leaves share the forage table with the usual forage items and unique-to-that-zone foraged items, but they definitely appear to be on the rare forage table.

The forage rate for yew leaves in WL is so abysmally low that I cannot even begin to imagine anybody wanting to try to accumulate more than a few that way. Consider the few that you can gather to be especially precious and save them for when you really need them.

I usually pop in once or twice a day and hit the forage key and port out. Usually do this logging in and logging off. I get about 1-5 a week doing this. Forage rate on them is terrible.
