  • Need to make some pp!

    Hello,

I used to play Everquest years ago and I have decided to come back! I was able to get my old characters...however when I left I gave almost everything away to newbies cause I did not ever plan on coming back, hehe. I have a level 55 Druid who is fairly good at Tradeskills.

    Baking 182
    Blacksmithing 131
    Brewing 185
    Jewelery 200
    Pottery 208
    Tailoring 129

I left about 5k total on my account. Now I need to make some money to buy some gear for my characters again. Does anybody have any ideas on how to go about this? Thank-you!

you gave everything away cos you were not coming back.... but kept 5k?

Well unless I have missed something, there is not much you can do with tradeskills... unless you pump out subcombines that other traders will pay for???

Maybe parts to MTPs or Celestial Essence....

Otherwise the only advice to give is... go hunt, loot corpses!

Hunt velium weapons in Great Divide and break them into velium. Enchanted velium bits is a popular skill up route so should sell well.

      Forage grease in PoI.

Crystallized sulfur drops in many zones and is now used in spell reasearch in mass quantities.

Hunt the Mesa in TSS. Animals there drop crushed diamond dust, other gems and decent vender trash items.

If you can imbue emeralds, people will buy them. Might sell even better if you already have them converted into Blessed Dust of Tunare.

Easily farmed and sought after items.

        Shissar scales (200-1000pp/scale)
        Nightmare Arachnid Silks (500-1500pp/silk)
        Crushed Diamond Dusts (400-1000/gem)
Virtually anyhting from PoI that stacks and is TS flagged.

I would not consider Shissar Scales easily farmed at level 55.

If you're completely naked, go to the bazaar and buy some cheap armor/weapon or join a guild that will give you hand-me-downs. Seems like most guilds have hand-me-downs if you ask nicely.

Then go out and farm plat/items to sell to get you some money.

              Good luck.

Check out the /barter function in the Bazaar. You will be able to search what people are specifically buying. Armed with that information you can focus your farming in areas you know people will be looking to buy.
