Bazaar Stack Buying Goes Bye Bye

Well Looks like it's time to revive that old cartoon about the Lady who couldn't buy by the stack! :roll:

In the Bazaar just now and I get the "item unavailable or undergoing price change" when attempting to buy more than one item off a Trader. Have to single (ctrl - buy) them. Glad I only want 250 of these items!

This is an NPC Trader? or a Player Character Trader?

If the 2nd, I would say... STOP. Close the trade window... Reopen the Trade Window and TRY AGAIN.

I read the message as a potential that the Player was in the process of adjusting his price on the item just as you tried to buy.

If it still happens, send a tell to the player, ask him if you can buy a stack of the stuff. He might be willing to sell at a slightly better price for a stack, than normal.

If, however it is an NPC Trader, try zoning out... and zoning back in. Try the purchase again. Try any purchase with another NPC trader (Stack of Water for example). If it still fails... THEN report it as a bug.

I have a guildmate who was in the bazaar last night and couldn't purchase anything, at all :/

So one by one, you're doing better than he was It's possible bazaar got bugged somehow, but i'd say try it with some other things, just to see if it works or not (have a guildmate sell a stack of water so you can test it without spending any real money )

I couldn't buy by the stack either - and checking my seller, neither could people buying from me.

Your guildmate probably never tried to buy 1 at a time...

Really upset me because everything I sell is sold in bulk and stackable.

Drinks, silks, etc.

Had a few browsers while I slept, but no buyers because they couldn't figure it out.... or didn't want to single buy hundreds of items.

Yup - it's an NPC trader!

Been there done ALL that - happens with every NPC trader I've tried, zoned out, logged out - have reported as a bug!

Actually saw this on the Tech Boards yesterday on Sony Site but didn't try myself until this a.m. :?

And I concur with Delfontes - most of my goods are stack items so will probably also lose sales! :evil:

Ahh, well at least the NPC merchants are still functioning normally <crosses fingers and :roll: )

Oh and PS - Serverwide EQtraders channel not working! When it rains it pours . . .

I also had people buying stackables by ones. I thought they were nuts.

Ran into this myself trying to buy of PC vendors. And I did close the window and reopen it several times. Kept getting the message. When it happened on the 3rd person in a row, I figured there was a problem, and asked over ooc and someone told me about buying 1 at a time. /bleh

That's very strange because I bought 1 stack of each item needed to make the new armor dye component last night in LoY. Worked just fine. Is this only in the bazaar?

Yes, seems only a bug when buying from a PC vendor in the bazaar.

Aye, I did a bug report in on this one after someone sent me a very frantic tell about wanting to buy 6 of my dyes last night and being unable to. After checking around, I found that it was a new bug.

Someone actually bought 70 dyes off me last night ... one at a time. {gibber}

I was able to figure it out early, so I luckily set my trader with an afk message explaining it before I went to bed. I sold a bunch of QAT last night.

It's just a bug. Everyone report it so they will fix it.
