  • Artisan Charm - Journeyman stats?

Does anyone have the Journeyman stats of the Artisan charm yet?

Indeed, I want to know too. My skills are high enough to exceed skills required for the Prayer Shawl. One skill is 300, others past 250. Unfortunately pottery is not one of the very high ones, but perhaps I will work on that if this looks promising. Among my alts we have speciality trades, but that does not help in the needs for this one big item. What can I expect if trade skills are respectable, but not perfect?

      (skill - 100)/200

      average the 7

      multiply by the stat

      also

      min(level,70)/70

multiply by the new stat for newer stat. (remember min level to wear is 51)

And I take it add 5 ac and saves and 25 to hp/mana/end when you hit perfectly 300 in all?

Not as far as I understand.

You simple take your average tradeskill value (I believe just the integer portion based on actual charm values I've seen), subtract 100, and divide by 200. That's your final value if you are level 70+. If you are between 51 and 70, multiply that number by Level/70 to get the final number. Then, multiply that number by the charm's max for each stat/save.

So, if your average tradeskill value is 250, and you are level 70+, you'd get:
            (250-100)/200 = .75
            .75*225 = 168.75, so you'd get 168 hp.
            .75*30 = 22.5, so you'd get 22 AC.
            etc...

            At 300 (level 70+), you'd get:
            (300-100)/200 = 1, so you'd get the max amount for each stat/save.

But, at level 51, you'd max at:
            225*(51/70) = 163.928..., so you'd get 163 hp.
            30*(51/70) = 21.857..., so you'd get 21 AC.
            etc...

Anyone have any suggestions for good augs to stick into Artisan's Charm? I would assume a slipgear's in the slot 8 spot, but what are ya all planning to use for slot 7?

Check out the Wanderlust Guild Loadstone. It is the 'new' explore quest for TSS. The stats on it are great when its finished. It is much harder than Slipgear however. Check out Druids Grove for some hints to get you started.

Yeah... I promise you the loadstone is MUCH harder... (unless you are a rogue with SOS)

                    Thanks!!!

Say, does anyone know how far you can get this loadstone before it gets super-duper hard? 20 hp, 30hp?

Im sorry to ask a stupid question here, but if you make the Artisan Charm at say 250 average will it gain stats if you raise your Trade skills after making it?

As a level 75 druid, the first major roadblock I have had is in Valdeholm (one see invis red named 3k hitting mob is in my way). I currently am getting 33hp/mana 5ac/resists and 8 to all stats on it. The aug that is.

I'm stuck at 7 ac 48 hp/mana on the wanderlust guild lodestone. I'm only level 71 and can't get the next part of the quest before level 75.

And they fixed it so rogue SOS doesn't make it easy to do.... stuff sees through SOS.

Charm stats with max tradeskills and max slipgears and the wanderlust lodestone as far as I can get it atm...

                            47 ac
                            323 hp/mana/end
                            51 all stats
                            37 all resists

Does anyone know the answer to this? I've heard yes, but then I saw another thread where someone referred to it as their "Master Artisan Charm" and it made me think of the PoR trophies.

If no one knows for certain, I will be finding out tonight after I fire mine then start the grind to finish up brewing and will post if it changed.
