Is there a way to get the text from in-game books, other than manually?

The title says it all. I have completed the new Brodder's Diaries quest, and I have the books. (all three for a single completion) However, it is rather a lot of text. Brodder rambles a bit, after all. Is there a way to get the text without manually copying from the screen?

According to a post on Alla's, Lucy's item reader can now read book texts again, though I haven't verified it myself. So in theory, you may be able to get the texts from Lucy.

Barring that, the only way to get the texts (that I know of) is to type them out manually.

Lucy is recording book texts. I used it to read the new research books while I was doing new combines since it was easier than keeping the book open in-game.

If anyone knows of problems with Lucy not recording book texts for whatever reason, please let me know and I'll pass it along to the appropriate developer. Note that you must open the book for the Item Collector to be able to upload its text.

Off-topic: Lucy should also be displaying stackability correctly again. If there's a problem with what's displayed vs. what's in-game, let me know...
