Well, the book that has the "recipie" is available in Crescent Reach from the pottery vendor on the second floor. I haven't finished gathering the stuff it calls for though.

Aye, I have a friend that found the book last night and started gathering the items.
Someone start a thread with a list of items so far, mobs they came from etc.

        Book is called "Crafter's Charm".

There is one separate charm for each 11 tradeskills. And then there is an Artisan Charm for the 7 basic tradeskills.

If someone can teach me how to log what's written in a book, I'll gladly go log it.

Do a screen-capture and re-type it... or just type it in notepad as you're reading it.

I don't think there's any other way to record the info.

Collected the items last night in less than 4 hours and am now wearing the charm. Was no problem for me (lvl 72 shaman), lvl 71 cleric, and lvl 71 mage to trio all the necessary mobs, most conned lb, a couple were db. Hardest part was finding the bladefin basilisks since I had no tracker. Leopards were the hardest to single, but even 3 at a time just meant cleric was using fast heals instead of ch. I was the tank and I'm no uber tank, 2k ac and 10k hps with cleric and self-buffs.

Now I really need to finish off tailoring (263), baking (264), and fletching (282) to hit 2100, only 2009 total atm since alchemy doesn't count. Stats on mine are about 2 off max on each stat/resist, and about 20 off on mana/hp/end.

Yep, proud owner of the charm now. It took me two days of farming to get all the items. I had a druid help each night and it took me maybe about 3 hours to get all the items. The vergalid clay was the hardest and took me longest to get.

                  The stats:

                  AC: 29
                  Stats: 24
                  HP/Mana/End: 218
                  Saves: 19

I am at 300 on all except 298 at fletching and 267 at tailoring.

With Wayfarer's Brotherhood Emblem and Slipgear's Gem maxed, it's 50 AC, 50 to all stats, 40 to all resists, and 375 hp/mana/end.

Slipgear is a two-hour quest more or less, you'll need the 70 goblin rogue shroud with Spirit of Eagle to do the Hive and Ruins of Illsalin portions. Expect to die a few times; I recommend using the veteran AA rez if you have it to negate the experience loss.

The Wanderlust Guild Loadstone is slightly better, I think +2 AC stats and resists, +25 hp/mana/end, but it takes longer because there's a lot more running around. Be careful talking with the quest guy in Vergalid Mines, there's a roamer within aggro range of him.

Ruins of Illsallin i can say you definately dont need 70 shroud and SoE to do
60 shroud w/ no buffs and i did fine..
only one i havent done yet is the Hive (have 2 spots left on it from my Hive instance groups, but one spot isnt on my map so im confused)
but i personally only saw 1 see invis mob in RoI.. it was a named .. i forget the name but hes in a room full of mobs w/ a pool somewhere in it (i think you come out of the pool to get in room.. its been quite a while tho)

When I clicked off invis, I died before I could even hail him. When I went back, I hit upon the brilliant idea of at least trying to hail him while still invis'd and it worked. Other than that death, the only 2 deaths I had were from the two guard towers in Varholem (sp?). Though I haven't gotten the final stage yet since I'm still only level 70.

Artisan Charm final combine hard capped?

I have managed to fail 4 trivial final combines on the Artisan Charm in a row. Small sample size aside, there is a 0.000625% chance of this happening (though the chance of failing one out of the 3 combines, 4 times in a row, is "only" 0.041%*). My first attempt on my main succeeded, so I can see the 250 trivial laughing at me from that toon's learned recipes . Has anyone else had indications that it's less than 95%?

According to the book the final combine is hard capped at 75% and is "educational". So presumably has a skill up bonus.
