How do i make a custom link to an item?

We all know how to link items, but i saw someone who had a CUSTOM title to his link. It linked to leather armor but he advertised it as selling luxirious leathers? Anybody know how to do this?

It is done like this...

[ url=<the link goes here> ] custom text [ /url ]
remove extra spaces in the [] to make it work

e.g.
Luxurious Robe

I think he's talking about in-game.

If memory serves, you have to set a hot key, then go into your files out-of-game and edit the file with a specific line of text. Most class-boards have links on how to do that.

OK, i may be a moron, but i cannot find a link or class sections unless you mean like baking sections or something like that. I found a link on how to do it on another site, but it requires getting an item number and the way he listed (send a tell with no recipient and the link, does not work.) so if someone could tell me how to get the item number, that woudl be OUTSTANDING!!

Make sure you are sending your tell as ;tell not as /tell
