Speaking of alcohol tolerance, I frequently guzzle 10-20 summoned ale while waiting for groups/raids to form. I haven't noticed a skill up from 182 (or so) after nearly 50-60 attempts. Most if not all attempts are with a 380 int. Bad luck or wrong brew?

When members of my guild were all sitting around the hall getting our tolerance to max before DK raids, we found a pattern for skillups that seems to work in almost every situtation.
Instead of going the traditional chug 20 brews then wait to get sober and do it over again, we went a different route. Chug as many brews as you can and then keep spamming another drink. Every few seconds or so (seemed to be about 5-8 secs at 210 AT, you end up drinking 1 more brew. Almost every single one of us noticed a quicker skillup rate doing this method.

Aye, get as drunk as you can then keep drinking is the path to the fastest skillups.
